YOU MUST APPLY FOR NEW ZEALAND ELECTRONIC TRAVEL AUTHORITY (NZeTA)

All citizens of Visa waiver countries as stated in the above list of countries must apply for NZeTA before they can board the aircraft at the airport of their departure. How much NZeTA Costs:

An NZeTA costs:

  • NZD$9 for requests submitted using Immigration New Zealand’s mobile app
  • NZD$12 for requests using the Immigration New Zealand website form (see details at New Zealand Immigration website HERE).

The IVL costs NZD$35 for each person travelling to New Zealand and is charged in the same transaction as your NZeTA. IVL is an NZ tourism levy called “International Visitor Conservation and Tourism Levy" to be paid by every tourist who wants to visit New Zealand and is payable in advance.

Your NZeTA and IVL are valid for multiple visits and up to 2 years.
